Our Mission Statement

• To be open to all levels (through our entry level program) and all riders and provide a safe, friendly environment for all to improve.
• To have fun, keep fit and provide good training for those that want to take it further. To be a social club and to provide donations when possible to nominated charities.

About us

STEAM was formed in 1998 by Brett Mace who had been coaching cyclists and triathletes in and around the Eastern suburbs for many years. Brett started by coaching female cyclists and triathletes and due to the popularity of the group, started including men. From there, Brett decided to form his own triathlon club with the express intention of coaching those adults who wanted to get into sport or keep fit.

Steam is a non profit incorporated sports club and any monies that are surplus at the end of the financial year are donated to charities at the discretion of the committee. Charities we have donated to in the past include : Youth in Sport, the John Maclean Foundation and the East Sydney School .

We are affiliated to the NSW Cycling Federation through Randwick Botany cycling club and Triathlon NSW.
